Is the calories based on a normal body weight or does it use the weight you input when you weigh in?

Any exercise burns calories based on your body weight, so it uses your current weight you put in. If you lose weight, you will find yourself burning less calories doing the same exercise.0

MFP tends to estimate high because it doesn't take into account heart rate and overall fitness. I think it makes its best estimate based off of time, age, weight, and gender.0

When I compare mfp calorie burn to a heart rate monitor mfp comes in lower.0

When I go walking I use a phone app to calculate calories burned and use the read out on my exercise bike when I cycle to work out calories used.0
