It's difficult to want to stay at my calorie budget

I'm having a lot of difficulty getting myself to stick to my calorie budget of 1,389 calories. Any tips to overcome the mindset of wanting to stick to maintenance and push yourself to restrict?

One BIG tip I would say that has helped me personally stick to a calorie budget slightly below yours is to have fun with the journey
How much have you lost so far? What is your end goal?
Can I ask what kind of meals you're having? What time do you eat? etc.
I personally am OK with having the same meal plan for an entire week for instance; so I enjoy doing meal prep for the entire week knowing my lunch is ready and that my dinner can be thrown together in under 15 minutes.
I also enjoy grabbing a pen and a notebook and then heading over to YouTube to get some meal inspiration too!
More than happy to try and keep you motivated with some direct messages etc should you wish - I am always looking to meet new people so that invitation goes out to everybody.

Do you have much weight left to lose?
Your calorie goal is for what activity level and what weight loss rate per week?
Personally, that calorie intake would be too low for me, so I would aim to get a higher goal by being more active and/or choosing a slower rate of loss.
If you're at the start of your weight loss, I would suggest easing into weight loss by starting with a very small calorie deficit and gradually increasing. If you've been losing weight for a while, a maintenance break might be a good idea.
And depending on where you are in your journey, you might want to think about how necessary further weight loss is. Perhaps you're already at a healthy weight? Perhaps you had a specific number in mind, but you could be just as happy at your current weight?
Without knowing more about you and your journey so far, it's hard to give more specific advice 🙂4 -
One thing I've learned is to eat water dense foods instead of calorie dense. An example would be grapes rather than raisins. You can eat more for less calories. Hope this helps a bit0

What is your TDEE and how much of a deficit do you have currently? You can lose weight at any deficit.
So if your deficit it like...500 cals/day --- lower it to 300 or 150 per day and then you can ~eat more~.0
