Not if you can handle it! I lost 21 pounds and dropped two sizes in 5 weeks when I found out I was going to Australia with my boyfriend... but I did it unrealistically (I'm not really that big so it was a massive amount to lose in a short time) and ended up gaining it all back and an extra 7 pounds. So work hard but be sensible!
Good luck and congratulations on the holiday!:)0 -

P.S. Whoops, sorry for the duplicate post!0 -
Your first thought was about wearing a bathing suit? Not 'yay, I get to have a lovely holiday'? A holiday isn't all about how you look and what you wear, surely?
Anyhoo, exercise as much as you like but make sure you eat your calories and make sure you can sustain it. Two months is actually a long time so don't push yourself so hard that you give up early.
And focus on enjoying your time in the Caymans. I'm jealous and I'm sure I'm not the only one!!0 -
As someone who has done too much and is suffering a longish lay off with limited movement, I'd say be careful. You'll want to enjoy your holiday and not be hobbling around with a bad back/leg/ankle/shoulder/ etc!
Hope you have a great time, feeling fit and looking great :-)0 -
thanks guys, yes i kno its shallow but i did first think of wearing a bathing suit, the trip is a working vacation and our pictures we take are going to be used in a brochure for the dive shop my boyfriend works out of i dont want to look like a whale, no pun intended0

Having the rest in between am and pm workouts is an important key. If you overtrain, your body will stop loosing and hold weight.0

This is not true. People who overtrain don't allow enough time for recovery between bouts of exercise and actually get weaker. Got nothing to with weight.0
