March Madness is in the books and now April is here. Spring is coming slowly here in Eastern Washington State. I enjoy working in the yard and playing softball in the spring. The opportunity to do both of those things has been limited by the cool spring. However, this cool spring won’t last much longer, and my outdoor activity will increase with increasing temperatures.

Haven’t been the model of discipline so far in the month of April. Actually, my physical activity has picked up quite a bit with yard work, softball, bowling, and exercise which have all increased as we approach spring. However, along with my increased activity comes an increase in appetite.
It isn’t really appetite either. It is indulgence. For example, I feel if I thatch the yard, I deserve a trip to Dairy Queen. Ha! Anyway, this is a problem I can easily fix???????

Today our softball season begins. That is a sign the outdoor season has officially arrived. My activity level will automatically increase by adding things like softball and yardwork to my routine. Now I need to focus on two nonactivity things, eating and sleep. I can do better on both of those things!

Hey BaconSlave, you and I have been lurking around the same weight for a while now. Sounds like you are ready to make a move on it and so am I. We can do this! I’ll be watching you and you can watch me. Maybe together we can encourage each other to make May a breakthrough month? I’ve included a link to next month’s challenge. Sunnyside, you Bacon Slave and I are all around the same weight. However, you seem to be on a better trajectory than we are. I don't think I can keep up with 2-pounds per week but I'd like to try to stay in the same ballpark as you. I'll be hitching my wagon to your star! Hope to see you in our May Challenge.1
