Has anyone else found since losing weight you have become alot more colder?
I don't know if its me, but i feel the cold soo much now.

Is this due to less body fat?

Just wanted to see if anyone has this problem!

Yes! I have a severe intolerance for cold to begin with, it causes me pain in my entire body. Our thermostat said 70 degrees yesterday with the windows open and I had on heavy sweatpants, wool socks a longsleeve shirt and a fleece jacket and was still cold.

I noticed it walking the dog the other day...

Ofc, it could be something to do with me wearing shorts and a t-shirt, and having my head recently shaved, but....

It might be less body fat....or the cooler weather.....or adaptations to a lower caloric intake, down-regulation of thyroid function. Who knows?

Good reason to start wearing fall clothing again, or buy some new sweaters.

I've always been cold-natured, so for me it has nothing to do with weight loss. You may want to look into the possibility that you've become anemic as a result of your new diet. If you're not getting enough iron that would definitely cause you to feel colder than usual. I'm no expert, but that's the first thing the doc told me when I asked about why I'm cold all the time - it turned out not to be anemia for me. A simple test will tell you if this is the case or not and if you are the doc will probably give you an iron supplement.

Absolutely! I have always been more of a warm natured person but with out the whale blubber I definitely get colder.

You look absolutely adorable in your after pic and I love your quote about the baggage we carry, well said!

I am always cold now. I hope that once my body gets used to it, I will feel warm again. But I totally freeze now.:grumble: But being cold is much better than being 54 lbs heavier. I can take off the sweater.
  • Thanks hun!!

    I guess i was wearing a 3 stone coat before ;)

Im going to try more food for Iron, as i don't have enough iron in my diet!
