Sushi rolls

Can anyone help with calories to log my sushi dinner tonight? Im having trouble posting a photo. I had 2, four-piece Tataki rolls. Made with rice and seaweed, filled with a krab “salad” which I think has mayo in it? A small amount of avocado and raw tuna on top. I also had two extra pieces of raw tuna. I looked on Sushifaq, it said 184 cals per roll but I’m thinking more like 300!!?

If I were you --- I'd search the database/Google and figure out how many calories are in a 'crab salad sushi roll'..... you're bound to find some consensus on ABOUT how many calories it'd be. Choose an entry in the MFP database that fits that as best as you can. For the raw fish part --- are you able to simply estimate how many ounces of raw fish you had? I'd do that. Honestly...I think ~300 calories for 6 8 pieces of 'crab salad sushi' sounds more or less right.

You do not have to be exactly correct on how many calories what you ate is. You can be off --- even by a lot. This is ONE meal you've eaten. It's not that big of a deal. I know that people harp on being 'as accurate as possible and weighing and measuring every little thing'....but something like this isn't going to ruin your weigh loss journey.

You are likely overestimating on the rolls but that's better than underestimating I suppose. Most Sushi rolls in moderation are actually not that high in calories. My normal order comes with 8 rolls and is about 600 calories, With the mayo, yours are likely a bit higher.
