A friend recommended this site while we were discussing our weight loss journeys. She said My Fitness Pal has helped her lose and maintain the loss so I thought I would give it a try. I started last Wed weighing in at 198 lbs, I am down 3.8 lbs so fingers crossed.

    Good for you! Everyone I’ve mentioned MFP to has come back with,”nah, I’d rather drink vinegar, take a cleanse, or do something I saw on Tik Tok.” One even wanted to survive on a certain brand of fast food chicken sandwiches because his weight loss “counselor” told him they were “boiled”, and thus low cal. So good for you for using your noggin and not going with the latest fad.

    I attribute a lot of my success to these community boards. I’ve learnt so much here and received so much support and motivation (Success Stories will sweep you along when you feel like you’re plodding.)

    I'm also just starting out! (Had success here in the past but regained over a few pregnancies...)

    I'm at 205, so we're in a similar place (though you're probably taller than me, I'm 5'2"...)
