My fitbit steps are not updating

Hi there, sadly my fitbit steps are not updating anymore. I disconnected MFP from Fitbit, deleted both apps (Android), and reinstalled and reconnected again. Once I reconnect, my steps do show up. However, they do not update; say I walked 1000 steps at 10:00 and that's when I connect MFP to Fitbit, MFP will show 1000 steps. When I walk say 5000 steps by 14:00, MFP still sits at 1000 steps. Hope anyone can help me solve this issue!
