The biggest thing about losing weight is keep at it. You will have down falls but work through them never quit0

Welcome to MFP! The best advice I've heard is that the first month of dieting isn't about losing weight, it's about developing better eating habits. The first month of exercise isn't about getting fit, it's about developing good form.
Stay consistent and be persistent and good things will happen for you!
