Newbie here!!

Hey hey!! My name is Nicole and this is my first week with MyFitnessPal and I’m so excited to doing this! I’ve been working on myself for about 3 months now and decided to give this app a try in helping with my journey so come say hi and let’s be friends!! ❤️🤗

    Hi Nicole and welcome!
    This app makes it very easy to log your food and track your calories. I joined last August and I am so glad I did 😊.
    Check around the boards for a group or a challenge to join, everyone is very friendly that I've come across. It certainly makes the journey easier to have someone to celebrate with or encourage as needed.

    Welcome! I've been logging in for years and it definitely makes being healthier tons easier. I'm always up for new friends and I post recipes and meals in my feed often.

    Hi @niclaguna Welcome to MFP!!!

    I was exactly the same timeline as you. I had been working on losing weight for three months, and had already lost twenty or thirty pounds when I had my first appointment with a dietician. She suggested MFP and I joined the same day.

    I’ve had much support and learnt so much here, and have been able to reach goal and maintain.

    Read the stickies at the top of each board for a quick hit of information, and then be sure to read the boards regularly. My observation has been that those who engage on the boards are exponentially more successful at losing and keeping it off.

    When you need a lift, check out any thread over on Success Stories, but especially the NSV (non-scale victory) thread. It pulled me through many a doldrums.
