So, you're craving something rich and chocolatey....warm and gooey...and absolutely delish?? Want it homemade and on your plate in 3 minutes........with coffee?? I've got just the thing... Homemade Chocolate Croissants!!!
Here's what you will need:
1 can Pillsbury Croissants
1 jar Nutella
butter or Shed's Spread
a skillet or Crepe Pan
Here's what you do:
Open and unroll croissants...place 4 triangles onto pan. Apply a small amount of butter to the top of each croissant. Heat over medium heat until the underside of each croissant is golden brown. .heat the other side until it too is golden brown. remove croissants when they are done..each side should take about 2 minutes. Put them on a plate and spread Nutella over the top of each....... and ENJOY...they are addictive... and about 215 calories each. Coffee and hot Chocolate Croissants in 5 minutes!!!

Oh my you must allow yourself more calories than I do per day. I have not had butter for almost a year. Glad you can allow your self to do this. The thought of this recipe sends me to the scales. LOL0

Making home made croissants isn't very difficult. It's all about the butter.

That sounds yummy! Thanks for sharing! I've been trying to not buy anything that comes in a box (except for my ice cream & pasta ) so when I want a treat I have to make it. This sounds like a yummy easy one.0

yes... but when there's no time to make the real deal..this is close enough!! I cook and bake ALOT... but sometimes I have to cut corners.0 -
That sounds very yummy! Just happen to have a jar of Nutella in the pantry, so will have to pick up some reduced fat crescent rolls to try this!0

I think Trader Joe's has frozen croissants that already have chocolate in them. So if you know how to bake, you could get these and just heat them up. And if you don't know how to bake, there are probably instructions on the package.0

And you're posting this on a Fitness/Diet website why?0

This is a thread I wish I hadn't looked at. Stupidly I thought it might be a recipe for a low calorie healthy chocolate croissant.
When will I learn? This does not exist, and even if it did, it would be too many calories for me.
And now I really fancy a chocolate croissant

damn, I gotta try nutella already! sounds yummy, I'm gonna make it one day.0

remember the golden rule.... enjoy anything in moderation. Besides, planning for these little treats, makes diets more manageable and successful.0

And why are people so FREAKIN' rude on this site? 216 calories is okay for a dessert.0

first of all because I can...... number two, there's no rule saying I can't. number 3...it doesn't always have to be about salads and tree roots. Number 4...people are interested in homemade goodies. And finally, if you don't like it.... Don't Eat It!!! thanx!!!0 -
That sounds great for a snack. Sometimes I have a craving and don't stop till I've eaten everything in cabinets. This will do the trick, it's gooey, sweet and how can you go wrong with Nutella? Thanks for the idea.

Well, I think the easiest chocolate croissants ever are Trader Joe's
Let them sit out overnight, then bake in toaster oven for 20mins. They come out just like the kind you would get at a pastry shop. So GGGOOOOOOODDD!!!0 -

2. Place it in a glass dish.
3. Microwave on high for 42 seconds.
4. Remove from microwave and let cool for 42 minutes. Or until desired texture.
5. Eat and enjoy!

and everyone on this site has
the ability to pick and choose how they spend they allotted calories.....So, go to another post...get movin!!0 -
