Stubborn weight loss

Options
My weight is not budging. After almost two months of increased activity, calorie counting, and really trying to change habits. Getting discouraged.

you need to be honest with yourself. are you weighing everything you eat? are you being super strict to where you binge, and have to start over the next day?

If you really want help you need to give people data to work with.
Blank profile, private diaries and no useful information about you given in your post.

If you just want to rant then goal achieved but if you want help or guidance to succeed at weight loss you need to try a bit harder than a two line post.

Agree--give your stats. Sorry, but so many people post just like you, saying they're not losing despite counting and exercising. When we delve deeply there are mistakes being made. So, if you don't want to just spin your wheels, and if you don't want to give your stats, then look carefully at these areas: 1. Calorie counting, weigh and measure everything. 2. If exercising, check that what you're logging for a calorie burn is as correct as possible (there are numerous past threads on how to adjust this). 3. Check the activity level you plugged into MFP, it could be too high.

Please don't get discouraged. Many people need to adjust to find their "sweet spot" where they can lose without suffering. It can take awhile. As mentioned above, you can just take 100 calories off your daily goal, until you start losing. Do this gradually--100 cal a week. All you need is the correct data to see where you need to be to lose. Remember, he wins who eats the most and still loses. That's where you want to be. Good luck. Patience, and never give up.

Well first question: what was your weight doing before you started all of this? Were you maintaining or gaining?
