C25K music/timing questions

OK, I tried the search feature and couldn't really find an answer to this. Is there an easy way anyone recommends to insert a beep or pause in someone's music or whatever to advise when to change from walk to run in the C25K program? I see there are music downloads that they have available, but my taste in music is pretty particular and if the music doesn't interest me it won't motivate me.

Suggestions please. Thanks!

There are a few options - I don't have a smart phone either so I'm in the same app-less boat :)

If you're on a Mac - try using Garage Band to make a podcast. Add the music you want and then overlay a beep each time you want to signal change in pace.

If you're on Windows - try Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/). It's a little trickier, but it's free software and very flexible.

Both these methods take some learning and the first week's podcast will probably take you the longest. After that you can just move the beeps around as you increase time intervals.

*A collection of tracks with just the pace change signals - add your own music in Garage Band or Audacity.

I'm sharing all this because it took me forever to find podcasts I liked too! I ended up just creating my own because I was not a fan of the music out there! Good luck
