when consuming coffee and lets say pepsi max for example would you put that under snacks or put it against your breakfast/lunch/dinner? or would it all go under water intake?

For me, I’d put anything with calories as a meal or a snack, depending on timing. If you drink black coffee or diet soda, I’d just include it as water.1

If it has calories I'd log it with the meal or as a snack. I never bothered logging things that don't have calories nor did I ever track "water". Proper hydration has never been an issue for me as I live in a high desert climate and hydration is fairly obligatory and that would be the only reason to log water or other zero calorie beverages IMO.1
