Okay ladies ... I have a wedding to go to the second weekend in October. A lot of the people who will be there haven't seen me since I lost most of the weight and I want to WOW them all. What are some of your favorite places to find dresses??? I couldn't even tell you the last time I wore a dress ... LOOK OUT!! Thanks!!!

I'm not sure about where to find a dress (I don't really wear them either), but I say definitely go for something that is NOT black....show them you can look great in anything; not just a slimming color =) Have fun!

I love this store. Some of them are a little more formal than others but they are reasonably priced and there is a ton to choose from. Good luck:smile:

I found some I liked on Kohl's website because I needed to use Kohl's cash, but was not comfortable that they did not have them in the stores. I like T.J. Maxx and Marshalls mainly. I am sure that no matter what you get, you will look fantastic and everyone won't even recognize you at first! :-)

Not sure where you live but if you go onto www.shopstyle.com they are a one-stop-shop for all kinds of stores both in the UK and USA, they also ship all over the world.
I'm a personal stylist and I use it ALL THE TIME! Even if it's just to get an idea for a client. They have hundreds of pages of dresses and you can input the style, colour etc that you are looking for to break it down, or just browse them all. You might find something that's from a store near you so you wont have to buy online.

I know their dresses are super expensive, but seriously, you feel like a princess.

    Betseyjohnson.com

If youre looking for something that won't break the bank, just go to any department store and look around. I know its annoying, but imo its the only way you're going to find something awesome.

I've had great success at both White House Black Market and Ann Taylor. They get that women have curves! If you buy today, all clothes are 40% off online. :)

    Ditto!
  • Francesca's is always cute. Some people like Forever 21/Charlotte Russe, but know you may only get 1 good wear out of the dress. Ann Taylor Loft sometimes has cute dresses, and of course White House Black Market (sale racks can be amazing). Some good online places are Modcloth, Bluefly, Fred Flare, Fossil.
