My jeans are falling down

I'm 4 weeks into trying to burn off some fat and build some muscle through coached swimming and weight training sessions. I figure I won't see much difference on the scales, so here are my little bits of progress...
1. I've lost a few cm from my waist
2. I'm doing more reps of higher weights at the gym
3. I can feel a bit of quad muscle when I poke my leg with a finger. It very obviously moves like a muscle when I walk. I can feel muscles in the backs of my leg too.
4. I've got a glimmer of muscle definition in my arms. There are some triceps lurking somewhere.
5. I'm swimming nearly twice as many laps now my arms are getting stronger
6. Today my jeans are falling down!
