Congrats on making the decision to improve your health and work on you. I started about 2 months ago and even though I have a lot of weight still to lose - I feel SO much better. My advice, as someone who was recently at the starting line, is to use the first few weeks for data and learning about your body. Don’t expect perfection. Watch your macros and figure out what helps you feel full (no one needs or wants to feel hungry day after day). Learn about what foods have high calories, what condiments have less calories, how to measure/weigh food, how your body does best with spreading out food during the day, etc. Then use this data moving forward. Make small changes at a time. Don’t go in and totally transform your entire way of life. I have tried that and was never able to keep it up. Figure out how to get some movement/exercise in that you can realistically keep up. I started small and now have built up because I feel better when I exercise. Set yourself up for success. Slow and steady, in my opinion, is best. Especially at first. Give yourself grace. Everyday won’t be perfect. But always be mindful. Best of luck!

I’m starting back today. I’ve been here around 4 times before ! Each time was successful but found maintaining hard!
I have around 2 stone to lose ( my heaviest ever ) I’m determined… I’ve had a lot on so I’m not going to be hard myself…. It’s a new start, I’m going to try to be kind to myself and move forward!

I’m just back from holidays and I was looking at some photos of myself, I hardly recognised myself in them I’ve put on so much weight ….. I did get down over it but that’s not going to help me …. Dusting myself off and I’m ready…. We can do this !
