This isn't my video, I'm checking trail conditions and saw this in a recent trip report. It's awesome! So I wanted to share. 🙂

This is the Eightmile Lake trail, in Leavenworth WA.

    Thank you for sharing! The lake looks so pristine and the bear looks cute and cuddly. :)
    When I visited my dd in Seattle recently, Leavenworth was on our list of places to go. Unfortunately we didn't make it there, so much to pack into a week. :(
    If I can figure out how to post a picture, we went to this loop around trail, much shorter than 8 miles but still beautiful.

    Yay, I did it. :) This place was covered with mossy trees and went around a river. It was gorgeous. But only a couple miles.

    Well that sure beats the cows and sheep we usually encounter on our hikes 😂
    Although other hikers think I'm nuts walking through cows with my 6 year old on my back 😂
