I tried looking for pre-made hummus at walmrat today and couldn't find it anywhere! Of course, the way that store is set up it's probably in the baby food ailse
Anyway, I looked for it with the dips for chips, the canned veggie aisle (which had the beans to make it but of course not the premade kind), the "healthy" section aka tofu/vegan/organic stuff, and the deli (that one was a long shot but gave it a shot anyway). I'm thinking about looking at hyvee but instead of wondering around again I want advice one where it normally is.
Thanks much! :flowerforyou:

In Walmart it is near the deli section - there is a small cooler with pre-made dips and the hummus is there. At mine, it is to the right of the meat counter.

it's usually in the refrigerated aisle - typically near the deli.

I've learned how to make my own. Much cheaper. And can spice it up any which way you like.

At my Walmart it is at the deli, next to all the prepared pasta salads and the take and bake pizzas.

For safeway it is by the deli in a cooler with fresh salsa and such..
  • The Hyvee in my town usually has it in a long refrigerated case near the deli- in with the fruits and veggies they've cut up and packaged, and the deli sides they make there in the store (hope that makes sense- I mean like the potato salad, jello-goo and such)... Hope this helps!!!

Same here...near the deli section, over by the gourmet cheeses. Their own brand, "Marketside", is actually pretty good. My favorite is the Sabra Greek Olive. Yum!
