Welcome @bopeep555! If you keep at it I am fairly confident that you can meet that (very reasonable) goal. Hopefully some of our wonderful community members can assist you with any questions you have.

    Hi!

I'm 66 years old. In the US. Am about 59kg, used to be 83kg. I used to be fat (most of my adult life) until I hit 59-60. I've been a healthy weight since then. Counting calories with MFP helped me, definitely.

I hope it's very successful for you, too! If you have questions or feel there are roadblocks others may've figured out how to get past, do post questions. The Community tries hard to be helpful, I think, and different people will have different ideas/approaches that you can consider.

    Best wishes!

Hi, I'm in Australia, now 70, lost a lot of weight (25kgs) just on 10 years ago when I was 60, but slowly over the years it has snuck back on and Covid isolation & lockdowns haven't helped. I'm hoping to find some other older Australians to befriend, so we can encourage each other. I know this works! I still have the pictures LOL. Christine from (currently) cold & wet Western Australia.
