As in today, i changed my percentages for carbohydrate fat and protein. before , i use to eat the reccoomended amount from MFP, but i heard that i can lose more weight if i lower my carb intake and increase my fat and protein. So , i switch the percentages to being 35% for carb, 35% protein and 30% fat. I was just wondering if that is a good idea? i am still intaking the same amount of calories , just different portions.

I've heard that the most effective way to lose weight without feeling "starved" is to do the 40/30/30 rule. 40% Carbs, 30% Protein and 30% Good Fats. My dietician set me up with this because I am a carb junkie and this was the safest and easiest thing for me. It let's me eat carbs without feeling like they are being "taken away" from me. I guess everyone is different. If you can make it on 35% Carbs, go for it. If not, like me, stick with 40% Carbs.

i am not sure if my dairy is open , but i can open it. usually if i have work , i plan my meals ahead of time , however , if i have only school , i tend to have more time to come back home and make "meals". i think i am eating healthy , i am not on a diet for say , i just try to keep my daily intake low and eat as healthy as possible

I think you've definitely moved in the right direction with your percentages. 55% of your energy from carbs is a LOT of empty /easy-to-process calories. I've always thought the defaults from MFP were a little skewed in the wrong direction.

Your protein requirement is pretty high for a female though. You may want to lower it down and raise up your fat content to replace what you're removing from carbs.
