For those of you that saw my post about a guy telling me I couldn't do the 30 day shred because I'm a "big girl"- I did it! I did day one level one today and I'm going to stick with it! It was hard but it pumped me up and I actually did more working out afterward. I'm so proud of myself

Good for you!!! You know what...I am right there with ya. Thanks for the inspiration. I am a big girl and I am gonna do the 30 day shred tonight. I went 10 days last time and I will complete the whole 30 this time. Take that Mr. Huff and Stuff.0 -
Well done girl, I'm on the 30day shred and its certainly by no means easy, Tell the **** that said you couldn't do it, to take a hike with his negativity. Good on you girl, the only limitations to anything is your own brain....0

That's awesome! Haha I'm right there with you. I'm a big girl too and I just finished my 2nd day!0

That kind of insult really makes me upset. Why can't bigger people work out like skinny people. Like Jillian says she has 400 lb people doing jumping jacks. If you can move, you can do the shred. I am 50 lbs over weight and I have done it. Good for you and don't let any one ever tell you you can't do something.
Keep it up girl, you are strong and nothing will stop you.0 -
good job! You can do it!! You proved him wrong!0

What a toolbox. I started doing 30DS at 234 lbs.0 -
What a turd. Fo-real. I started doing it at 182 lbs...I just completed day 27 today....three more days. It's tough but you'll be fine. The first two days are the worst and then it's all "up-hill". ;o)0

Good for you! Im also doing the 30day shred...0

The nerve of the guy, glad you proved him wrong. I'm starting the 30ds tonight and I'm a bigger size, and I'm not worried.0

I can't believe someone told you, you cant do that because your a big girl! Tell him to SOD OFF! She exercises are things she makes (made) the biggest losers do...So why would he think he cant do it?
WAY TO GO on completing day one. Its rough, but it "burns so good" haha0 -
Good on you for pushing through and doing what "couldn't be done"! I think we all should drink some of that coolaid!
At the same time it's important to listen to professionals about what you should avoid. Sometimes they don't actually know what they're talking about or they're being too cautious but sometimes you really need to listen to them (not that you should have in this case).
It's a fine line between letting advice slow you down and being foolhardy with your health.
I wouldn't hate on the guy too much. I'm sure he didn't mean to insult you. He was probably being overly cautious.0
