Please stop full-page ads locking me out of the app. I’m a starving artist and absolutely cannot pay you, I will have to find and learn a new app.

I've been using this app for years and never had a full-page ad that I couldn't X out of in the top right corner, even since the update. Never had Premium - not even the free trial. Seems odd to me that you'd be actually locked out!1
