    Bumping. Changing weigh in until Friday this week. went on a total binge last night, but getting my mind and body back on track toady, hoping emotions follow. That might have to wait until visit with "mommy dearest" is over.

    Thank you all so much for being so wonderful. It is great to have you lovely ladies. You are awesome and encouraging and all around the best!

    I get my hubby back tonight, so that will help. I think I'm giving myself a "diet break" for right now and just concentrating on healthy choices rather than intake versus output. Need to get back into being balanced and stop doing my ALL OR NOTHING attitude. Can't say that the scale is going to like it, but maybe I'm just not gonna like the scale rasp1.gif

    To work for me, then bible teaching. I will say, with family gone, my house has stayed clean for 24 hours. Kind of cool. And with my binge last night, all processed junk is now "cleaned" from the house. Now I just need a body cleanse. Then cycle class with body pump class. Then to airport to pick up hubby. Ready, set....GO!!!

    Bumping for tomorrow. Cannot face a weigh in today!!!!

    Been exercising every night so hopefully will have put pay to the damage done by the weekend we'll wait and see!! My friends coming over for tea tonight and she volunteered to make a spaghetti bolognase......... really hard to say.... actually I am not really able to eat that at the moment!! So we've settled on a chicken stir fry! LOADS BETTER! and I refused the offer of bringing a bottle of wine. Midweek drinking!? BAD TIMES.

    ANyway, looking forward to seeing her and will do some Jillian Michaels before she arrives tonight.

    I'm with you Lulu, I'm trying to be back on track this week to limit the weekend damage (foolish activities at the weekend!!!!). Today's a new day, no bingeing today!! "mother dearest"?? doesn't sound like you are looking forward to this visit? x

    Good morning ladies!!

    Your weigh-ins are looking pretty good! I think I might add myself back onto the lists now that you know what to expect from me! :)
    I'm up a total of 4.5 pounds, a little more than I wanted. Felt a little better yesterday evening...SO ready to be out of this first trimester! I did exercise last night. Did my Lindsay Brin's Prenatal strength/cardio first trimester workout. Tonight the plan is some yoga! AND I was able to cook some chicken last night, which I haven't been able to do the past few weeks because it would make me sick! YAY...there is an light at the end of the tunnel!!!

    love chicken it's my fav meat. i just pulled a fryer out of the oven. we will make chicken salad for lunches and i think tonight i will make spagehetti squash with chicken and alfredo sauce.

    oh, kristen saw something on hungry girl cooking show the other day. she put the cool whip on carmel rice cakes froze for an hour. really good. though you might like that, knowing you do the graham crackers. i was thinking maybe the chocolate cool whip with chocolate rice cakes. lots of different varities you could use. also put sliced stawberries on them.

    i am soo tired and i want to eat because of that. i am not hungry. so biding 30 mins than i can eat lunch. and take a nap, than debone my chicken and zumba tonight. new teacher see how she does.

    Yum...I've actually done cool whip on rice cakes before, but didn't freeze it! I have chocolate rice cakes and cool whip at home...gonna try tonight. Thanks for the idea!

    Tonights dinner plan...Turkey smoked sausage slices tossed in whole wheat rotini pasta with garlic, onion, parmesan, and olive oil. Yum, yum! I can't wait! SO glad my appetite is getting better and I can actually cook!!!

  • Hi Ladies. Not happy with myself this week. I know I was busy and all, but I gained over 2lbs! I really need to get better and fine my motivation. Nothing else positive to say right now, so I'm going to be quiet. Hope everyone has a great night/day.

    Has this ever happened to you:
    You feel bloated so you decide not to weigh, afraid of the number on the scale, but then find out that it isn't bad, sometimes good.
    Then there are days you wake up feeling "skinny", step on the scale and the numbers are up.
    I hate the days where I am feeling skinny and end up with a "bad" number because it really messes with my head.

    Binged badly on Tuesday night, and then ended up not eating at all yesterday until hubby got back in town and we sat down to dinner at 8:30 p.m. Even did a cycle class and body pump, and never felt hungry and didn't realize I hadn't eaten one calorie all day, but I was super thirsty. Maybe it was all the salty goodness I had the night before. Who knows, maybe it evened things out. Going to weigh in on Friday and let my TOM pass, so no weigh-in today.

    jdklove18 - no worries. more than likely it's a lot of water retention and you can work that off in no time.

    Cathy - always an inspiration.

    Kristin - It's awesome how you want to stay healthy and active during pregnancy. There was a woman in the body pump class last night at least 7 months pregnant and lifting more than me on squats and shoulders. WOW! You can do this! Running after Kadence will also be your inspiration.

    Em - Miss you. Hope you are having a blast.

    Tiff - Great to have you back.

    AFM: Today a little running and then Body Attack class, to daughter's school to volunteer (excited as this is my first time in the middle school), home to prepare dinner, then to pick up daughter (might walk to son's school), then pick up son, then home to prepare for our bible meeting tonight, eat dinner, wash up, and go to our meeting. Maybe a 30 minute nap? Hubby is back so I am a happy lady. Hopefully I can keep that feeling even through my mother's impending visit on Friday and not eat myself senseless.

    Morning!

    I'm at home today with Kadence (her daycare provider is having gallbladder surgery today so I'm home today and Friday, my husband is home tomorrow). Started the day off BAD...laying on the couch, ate leftover pizza for lunch...lazy, lazy, lazy...but think I've redeemed myself. Just did my Prenatal Stregth/cardio workout AND my prenatal Yoga workout! YAY!! Now feeling good! Stinky (I haven't showered yet), but good! Trying to figure out what to make for dinner this evening...I have NO idea yet! Maybe some lasagna...mmmm...

    Oh! Cathy...I tried the chocolate rice cake topped with cool whip and froze it...YUM!!!! It was so good! Now have some graham crackers with cool whip in the freezer!! Can't wait for that treat tonight!

    Well...glad my workout is in...still might go for a walk later since it's BEAUTIFUL outside today! Oh...and I got a run in yesterday! Felt great! BUT, my doctor said I should try and keep my heart rate under 140, which is almost IMPOSSIBLE when I run! It's usually around 165. So, I would run, my HR would reach 165, then I'd walk until it was back down to around 130, then run until it was 165, etc, etc...hope this is safe. I will ask next time I go in for a check up. Felt fine, so I'm sure it probably is. Kind of bummed I can't run as much though. Oh well...

    Anyways...gotta go shower before Kadence wakes up from her nap. Have a great day ladies!!

    sorry was supposed to log this yesterday and i forgot! no change this week, but thats better than a gain! will have to up my gain next week and sort it all out!!

    Off to a wedding tomorrow (another one!) and we've decided on our honeymoon, whoop whoop (way better than dress shopping!) we are going to Croatia for two weeks. AMAZING!!!

    Back at work for today, home again tomorrow. Today a co-worker is taking me out for lunch for my birthday (early...my birthday is tomorrow) and so I'm going to make a healthy choice (I hope!) Tonight will be some left-over lasagna and salad. I might try and do some yoga again tonight, or else it will be a night off of exercise for me...we shall see...

    been doing so good and the scale is stuck. yuckieeeee. great zumba teacher yesterday morning. she will teach again tonight. i am going. putting a stew in crock pot for DH and i. he won't be home until late. i won't be home until after 7.

    gotta get the day going.
  • Hi All - I miss you guys! I will be back Saturday night (I am still in Poland now). It has been a great trip, and I have done a TON of walking and stairs... lots and lots of stairs...over 1000 yesturday.... anyways I have also been drinking a lot of beer... so it will be a toss up - hoping for a loss on Tuesday.

    I will check in early next week - can't wait to catch up.

    rainy, stormy day today. makes for a lay around day. doing zumba tonight. if my HRM worked right yesterday morning. i burned 800 calories in her class. WOW. wearing it again tonight just to see.

    here we go again.....where does everyone go?

    dear diary,
    once again the scale is playing it's games with me. up, down, up, down. it gets sooo frustrating when it does this. here i have been doing so good on everything. i just don't know. maybe i broke my scale when i dropped it a few weeks back. so it doesn't register any number lower than 237. i know one day it will just drop, but, for now it pi$$es me off. i know it all, where, what, how, why a scale does this. it's just one of those times. i just keep plugging away at it.
    today is rest day from exercising. have come up with a new plan, since i don't care for the wednesday zumba teacher. it went into action yesterday. i have also made some other changes as of yesterday.
    well, off to play around. boomer's sugars are up, he was drinking all night and had to pee at 5 this morning. so i am up and tired. a nap is called for today.

    good morning. i wasn't going to workout today. but....i did anyway. i went for a walk. with a little jog mixed in. went a total of 2 miles. would have made it to the store. but, didn't have my paper money, and had to pee, and my feet were hurting. wrong socks. felt good, burned a few calories. DH made english muffins this morning. really good. tummy was growling at around 10 so had one as a snack. i have the girls for a bit. they went to the gym. thinking i will go read for awhile. weather is suppose to be really cool and low humidity with week. i hope so. tomorrow is a gym day and a few errands to run, clean house and laundry. almost lunch time.

    I havent been able to log in at the weekend as I was away at a wedding.

    GOing to the theatre tonight with my mum, and two friends - looking forward to it but it means speedy dinner. Was going to have omlette but then realised i'll have had 6 eggs in 3 days and not sure thats very healthy? does anyone know the reccommended amount?

    anyway best get on, busy day being as I wasn't in work on friday.;

    Feeling a bit low and don't think it would be productive to bring my mood to the group.

    Will check in on Wednesday as am out on site all day tomorrow and will have no internet access

    feeling down this morning. darn dog was up again. this time at 3. i am tired. now i don't know if i will go to the gym. maybe a few cups of coffee. the darn scale is a pain in my side. it's up again. it sorta bothers me that tomorrow is weigh in and it's up a pound again. seems when i get to under the 237 i have drank myself til i float, and haven't eaten. that won't work. i will get over it. i feel thinner, so i will keep chugging along.

    clair....i don't think that many eggs is going to do anything. if you did it all the time than i would think twice about it. have a good time tonight.

    off to get some coffee.

    Hi guys. Still here but barely. Issues, issues. I usually keep my issues in the attic, but someone must have let them out. Having a hard time wrangling them back up again and getting them to go back up there. Because of how I feel, I can't step on the scale as I am afraid that will make me spiral down more. So I will save my weigh-in for the last week (hopefully), but I'd still like to lurk around if that's okay.

    Cathy - don't listen to the scale. I believe them to be schizophrenic and thus unreliable. If you feel thinner, keep doing what you are doing. Those positive thoughts will make the scale seem irrelevant. Go by your clothes instead of those annoying numbers.

    Clair - BRING IT! We are in this together, ups and downs. If there's anybody you can vent on, it's us. All walks of life, different parts of the world, yet similar problems in some form or another. We are here for you.

    Thanks for the birthday wishes! Had a great Friday off with my baby girl! Got in a good workout and got a bunch of stuff done around the house. Then we went out for dinner and I endulged in some chocolate cake (it was my birthday! I had to!) Then Saturday I took a day off from exercise, picked my mom up from the airport (she was in Canada) and spent some time with her. Sunday I went for a run and then had a lazy movie day with my sister!
