I had my first veggie burger today.. I picked up a box of Morning Star's Spicy Black Bean Veggie Burgers.. and oh my, it was delicious! Throw it on your George Forman gril / any grill.. and it cooks up perfectly! Has anyone tried these? Or does anyone have any other veggie burgers that are delicious / recommended to buy? :)

My favorite vegan, whole foods based, no soy, etc burger - Sunshine Burgers, original. Just rice and veggies. That's it. I love them, I always have some in the freezer for emergencies.

There's actually an awesome, SUPER simple vegan black bean burger recipe I got off of here somewhere. I don't tend to make them much because they usually have several ingredients, but this one was really basic, and I added mushrooms. Maybe try a search for veggies burgers?
  • All the Morning star burgers are delicious. I have been eating Morning star for a long time and prefer all their food especially the sausage and Mini corn dogs.

I really like the MorningStar Farms Grillers® Chik'n Veggie Patties. Just be careful with the sodium levels on some burgers.

I completely agree... I love them all! I like the chik'n patties. There's also an italian herb burger (or something like that) that is very delicious! Have you tried their breakfast biscuits? Very delicious as well.

Morning star is SOOO good... Much better than Boca burgers! Lol. There is also a great recipe for black bean burgers on AllRecipes website... Just search for "black beam burgers" and it's the one with tons of good reviews! even my husband likes them ;)

i had the morning star grillers original for dinner...
it was delish :) i love veggie burgers!
  • I buy the Boca Vegan burgers when they're on sale, but usually I make my own veggie burgers, just to cut out any kind of chemicals you find in the store-bought kind. I usually go off of this recipe: http://happyherbivore.com/2011/08/easy-black-bean-burger/ it's almost too easy, hahah.
  • Morningstar "bacon" is seriously amazing. I have a hard time not eating it every day.
  • I love the Asian ones and the grillers prime

Though I'm not vegetarian by any means, I've been eating Morningstar Grillers for lunch for a long time because they are so quick to nuc. (I work a mile from home and most often eat here.)
