I asked help. but go on your own profile and where it normally says "add friend" on someone else's profile you click on edit pictures, then upload.

Hi, You were asking about how to add a photo to your Blog...the answer above was how to add photos to your Profile. Have you since found your answer?

Add New Post in your Blog
Click on the View HTML button; a new window will open.
Inside the new window, put your cursor where you want to place the picture. If you already have a lot of formatting on your Blog Post, there will be a lot of HTML code to wade through. You just have to best guess where your cursor should be placed to insert your picture.
    At your cursor, type <img src="image URL">
The words image URL must be replaced by the internet address of the image itself...for example, here is the ad banner URL from the side of this page: http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/simgad/15987789271323882215

I got the image URL from right clicking on the image and choosing "Copy Image URL" then I pasted it above.
Then, hit the Update button at the bottom of that new window, and the window will close.
Click Save on your blog post, and you should have an image there.

Note: If the image is too large, it will skew your blog width-wise. You'll have to resize the image. Also, you should post your images to an image-hosting site like Flickr or Picasa. For two reasons...if you use a link to an image on your harddrive...your blog may lose the image every time you shut your computer off. And Two, if you use an image from another web page, if the web page ever deletes or changes the image...your blog will no longer be able to find the image to display it.

Lots of info to absorb. Enjoy. lol

Unfortunately these directions don't work. The MFP blog doesn't let you edit it either. It's so annoying. If I add the raw URL link after saving my blog, it won't add the URL link to the bottom showing where the picture lives after the below directions were tried and doesn't work. MFP loses a lot in their personal blog section where users can't post pictures that would be very helpful. I wonder why their blog editing is so inactive?

Many of us first write our blogs onto Google Document. We can easily resize our pictures (I do it so width wide mine are just less than 1/2 of length of the page. After I get my blog just so, I go to MFP, open a blog, copy and paste from my Google Document TADA right into MFP blog. It works really well. It was trial and error for a tiny bit until I learned to make the pics I am putting into it small enough, but PHEW now I am having no issues.

If you'd to check out a blog or 2 you'll see the size I used.
