Can anyone advise me how to attach the information from Apple Watch fitness app, ie swimming workouts so that the calories reduce after exercise

You have to have it linked to your health app on your iPhone and then you can sync it to here. I hope that helps.0

Download MFP to your iPhone via the App Store.
On your iPhone (not the watch!), open the health app
Next ti the word “browse” is a small circle with your initials. Press that.
Go to Privacy, then apps, then MFP. Give MFP permissions to read all the data you wish it to read.
That’s all I can remember offhand. Be sure to give it permission to transfer step data to MFP.
To record an exercise, touch the little green running man on the watch itself, and choose the type of exercise (walk, cardio, elliptical etc) and a start it. You’ll need to end it when you’re done. If you forget, you should get a reminder.
The exercise will transfer to MFP. Sometimes it takes a few minutes.0
