Want to change my nutritional habits

I'm a 48 y/o male. Looking forward to lose over 50 pounds asap. I exercise often, as much as I can. Work over 50 to 60 hours a week and the time left I want to use it for exercising and choose better nutrition intakes.

    Hi, and welcome @ggdemarqui!

Just a thought: My experience has been that it's a good plan to put a priority on long term (ideally permanent) weight loss and fitness improvement, rather than going as fast as possible. The idea is that good long term outcomes come from experimenting, finding, practicing and grooving in relatively easy, relative happy, personalized eating and activity habits that can continue forever almost on autopilot when other parts of life get complicated . . . which they will.

Sometimes "lose weight fast" can even be the slow boat, if the extremes lead to slips, interruptions, maybe even giving up altogether. It can be a slippery slope, an on-ramp to weight and activity yo-yos, which are the more unhealthful pattern.

I was overweight to obese for around 30 years, also came from a stressful, long-hours IT career. Back in 2015-16, I lost something over 50 pounds, have been at a healthy weight ever since, which has been a huge quality of life improvement.

Wishing you success, whatever route you choose!
