P90x Choose One

I started this as a question on my wall:
If you could only do "one" disk from the P90x series which would you choose? (ab ripper, kenpo, plyo, cardio etc...)
of course everyone had a different answer ( it's funny but what did I expect, we are all different)
I was thinking about starting something like this...
I guess I should have asked which one do you think an out of shape beginner should start with ?
Thanks in advance for your replies

I just started it LIzzy ....the whole program....and did the best i could until I built up to where i needed to be.....
saying that I just restarted the thing soooo
Its like im starting fresh0 -
I think you should do the one with Tony Horton in it....
For realz though, wish I could help you, but I can't. Mine is MIA. booooo :sad:0 -
I find Kemp the easiest of the workouts, but my favorite is chest and back.0

If I was a beginner, I would start with Cardio X. It's the shortest and incorporates some exercises from the other CDs.
My favorite is Kenpo. I love doing it and look forward to it. I love that you use your entire body in almost every movement.0 -
I enjoyed the kepo, it seemed a little more functional.
The yoga destroyed my body the first 2-3 weeks, soooo sore. Got super sweaty too, surprising. I did like the flexibility it gave me though, but 1.5 hours was a little too naughty for me to commit to. Some poses you hold for 1-2 minutes repeatedly, which i think it too long -good for yoga but really long in the world of fitness/bodybuilding.
I don't remember much else, other then into week 10 i felt i was losing too much muscle (which i clearly was, cause i kept track of everything) along with weight dropped, so went back to heavier weights and cardio.
It was fun and interesting for a bit.0 -
Kenpo X is the most fun workout! I think it is easy enough for a beginner also. I do like Chest & Back though too.0

KenpoX!!! when i was too heavy to do plyometrics.. I love Kenpo... when you REALLY focus on the form.. movements.. making sure you are moving your complete body.. ITS MAJOR!!! lol.. I realized that the reason it was easier when I was out of shape is because I wasn't ABLE to do the moves properly.. so its nice to see how much better you get at it.. and ITS FUN!!!!! One thing to keep in mind is... ALL the workouts are based on you DOING YOUR BEST.. and logging it.. and you WILL IMPROVE... not sure why you only want to do one.. but IF thats what you're doing i'd choose Kenpo X0

I pretty much enjoy my workouts ...this second time around...Yoga is still not my favorite ...it's sooo long ...& although it helps with my flexibility ...I find it tedious0
