Looking forward to doing it right this time.... but also anxious.

Losing weight is something I must do to be healthier. I have always become so overwhelmed by looking at the big picture and give up & my weight continues to climb. Having the support and learning from others gives me hope so I can stay committed.
Thank you in advance

Even the longest journey starts with one step. Just focus on one step at a time and don't let yourself get overwhelmed by the long term goal, gradual changes work best

CMA2022 - I totally agree with Lietchi. I have a LOT of weight to lose - I mean a LOT - over 200 pounds to lose when I started. I used to think like that "I have so much weight to lose. I'm never going to get there. Why even bother." You just can't let yourself think like that... take baby steps and don't ever think about the big picture. I even had to switch my baby steps from hoping to lose 5 pounds a week, to hoping to lose 1-2 pounds a week. Now, that is manageable, isn't it? 1-2 pounds a week - I can do that. And, before you know it, those 1-2 pounds a week are going to add up to some significant weight loss. Just trust the journey, don't jump ahead of yourself, and try not to look at the big picture as that is often too overwhelming.

You know that saying "save a penny, gain a pound" - same applies here. Lose a pound, gain great weight loss! Hope this helps even a little 😊
