nothing more then yoga or stretching tonight!!0 -
Go swimming! Do gentle laps. Nothing like water to relax tight muscles. Hope you feel better. Good luck.0

Stretch and do a little walking0

Tonight should be all about resting and relaxing the body. If you're tight, do something to help loosen you up, whatever that is... swimming, walking, stretching at home, etc.0

Well the pool is half an hours walk away so maybe I could walk there and then see how I feel0

You need to roll! Use a foam roller to loosen up your muscles. Especially quads and IT band muscle.
Good luck tomorrow!0 -
I don't have one of those at home It's on my birthday equipment list though0

Yes you should get one! Especially if you're planning on running a lot. Also, look into the stick, its the same idea.0

this evening, go walk about a mile or so. tomorrow, go for a VERY short jog about a half hour to 45 minutes before event and then stretch 5 minutes or so before race..dont over do/think anything tonight.0

According to C25K, you should rest the two days before a 5K to give your muscles time to relax and settle down before a 3+ mile jaunt. Just what I read from a nutritional trainer's perspective.0
