Cuisinart. Not sure how I typoed that one.

Before starting on protein shakes a few weeks ago I probably used it twice for margaritas.

It's nice. Lots of speeds. Glass pitcher.

I swear the thing leaks every single time. I've tried screwing it on loosely. I've tried screwing it tight. Nothing works. And I can't take it back because we got married 7 years ago. I'm about ready to go get a $20 Walmart special and throw this thing in the trash.

I don't know what yours is like but mine has a rubber piece that fits between the glass and bottom part. Is that on yours?

I have a Kitchen Aid mixer and the pitcher is plastic, but it is all one piece. I got it because I was sick and tired of my old one leaking. I love it. It is a little on the pricey side, but I got it on sale.

they have really good customer service. I would try and replace the rubber gasket seal that goes between the glass and the bottom piece that screws on. It may be cracked from drying out...age. Or look really close at the bottom piece that screws on, it may have a hairline crack and you just don't see it. Either way, both pieces should be available to replace from the company.

Good luck, I love my kitchen appliances. I have more than I know how to use, but they sure are handy.

I'm pretty sure mine is a Black & Decker that I got at Target for about $20. It's even glass!! I had a nicer one (It was a wedding gift! lol) that leaked like a b!tch.

Yeah, I use the rubber gasket. It looks to be in perfectly good shape. My husband suggested ordering an entire new glass picture thinking maybe the glass is warped or something on the bottom. I don't see any chips or anything.

We have owned cheap ones and pricier ones and they all end up leaking between 3-5 years...................

Blenders and food processors need to be cheaper because they are like printer ink (a consumable product)...........

    Vita-mix.

    Not cheap.

    Not small.

    Not quiet.

But if you get one you will love it. Talk to them directly. Get a refurbished one - same 7 year warranty.
