Jeans for women with no bum

Options
It seems I have the opposite problem than many threads I read on here.

I have absolutely no *kitten*. None. Flatty McFlat. I also have very little hip and finding jeans which fit is a nightmare - as I have pretty sturdy thighs/legs and quite some tum. So - jeans are always saggy on the bum and a bit flappy on the hips. Skinnies aren't so great because they make my legs look sausagey.

I've started looking for trousers which have a smaller piece between the waistband and the bum part at the back but I'm not having much luck.

Any suggestions, ladies?

if I were you, I would buy pants that fit my legs and then find a good seamstress! good luck to you!

I have the same problem since I lost the weight. My suggestion? Try on absolutely everything that appeals to you--eventually one will fit. It won't be easy but you'll find it. Go for tighter rather than looser when it comes to jeans. They will stretch.

I have no idea. I suffer from a condition known as "apple bottom". Do you have a shop near you that specialises in fitting jeans? Or a store that sells higher end jeans, where the staff is quite knowledgeable? They might be able to help you find a cut that suits your shape.

    Good luck.

Yeah - I have absolutely no idea. My butt needs its own zipcode.

    Good luck, though!

I have a similar problem, jeans and trousers hang on my bum and hips if they fit at the waist, especially as I have lost weight. I hate shopping for trousers or jeans! It's not ideal but have found that certain maternity jeans (obviously the ones without the big bit to cover the bump!) are worth a try as you can get a smaller size that fits on the hips and bum but have a bit more room at the waist so aren't too tight. They usually have adjustable elastic sections that you can tighten and with a belt they are normally a better fit than a lot of others I have tried.

i too suffer from noassatol syndrome and i miss the low rise jean craze! i could get them so they fit. I find that - for work pants - a stovepipe leg is best and hangs nicely where there should be a bum, wear a belt and there's no problem.

for jeans? go to the men's section. mens jeans are cut for small bum and no hips.

I am also part of the no @$$ club, so I hear you!! I have nothing. Every now and then I will find a pair of jeans that will fit nice. Honestly, I used to wear men's jeans, but it was ok during the "grunge" stage in the 90's when I was a teenager. LOL. I wouldn't dare today. I LOVE the jeans at the Avenue. They seem to fit me well :)

I'm a fellow sufferer. I feel your pain. I'm hoping that once I've lost weight, everything is going to be in more proportion.

Without seeing a full length picture, it's hard to make a suggestion. Do you have a large difference in measurements between your stomach and your legs?

This isn't so much for jeans, but trousers in general, have you tried palazzo pants? I haven't found any that aren't in a crazy pattern, but they look pretty stylish and I'm hoping that they will solve my aversion to trousers.

surprised nobody mentioned adding some squats to your daily exercise. Your rear end muscles are part of a large group of muscles, and tone up fairly quick with regular exercise. Try chair squats and lunges! i have flat butt too, but i can see an improvement after just a couple weeks of exercises concentrated on my lower body. it'll never be round and beautiful, lol, but it looks better than before!!

That is so weird, I only ever notice the difference in my thighs and not my bum. But if you're looking for good bum exercises...

If you're in the UK, and don't mind laying out a bit of cash, I was in Selfridge's recently (not Miss Selfridge, proper Selfridge's) and they had this uber-jeans section where they would do you a 3-D body scan and basically build the jeans around you. I won't lie, it was pricey, but I imagine the jeans would last pretty much forever.

I can't seem to find it on their website just now (but looking at their denim section, pretty much all their models seem to have no arses. Then again, they also seem to be walking skeletons.) Might be worth a visit to see though.

While googling for information about that (and £250 is way out of my price range so I stopped looking for info about Selfridges) I found an article with useful information - it's an old one and the Daily Fail isn't usually a source I'd trust but some of this information still appears current.

Buckle - store with jeans for most body types with knowledgeable staff. Pricey but worth it if you have access to one.
