Fire 30 too hard!

I have been eating healthily and getting fit via dvds and walking for 7 weeks now. I thought I would give Turbo Fire a try. Did the Fire 30 and could only manage 15 minutes of it. It sure was a killer. I worked my hardest and was so disappointed I could only manage half of it.
I am 209lbs and obviously not ready for Turbo Fire yet.

Still you are 15mins up on the person who did not do it at all.
Where you doing the moves high impact, or were you following Ally.
Did you stop just before the fire drill or after?0 -

Hello mmk, I did a mixture of high and low but mainly low. I think I stopped after the fire drill. I can't really remember.0 -
I am aiming to do Turbo fire soon but im working up to it dont feel bad for getting half way thats more than most people do and next time just do a few minutes extra and build up slowly you will finish the whole 30 in no time at all0

Aim to do it all low impact (so follow ally).
It will be hard, but like what Page said, aim to do a little bit more next time.0 -
Try not to be discouraged! I know its hard but if you stick with it you'll rapidly improve I promise. I just started week 9 and am at least 100 lbs overweight. When I started I just tried to keep up with the movements and not worry too much about intensity, just keep moving..that in itself was plenty intense. But very soon I was able to do the whole thing. The great thing about it is that there is always room to do it with more intensity as you get stronger. You don't have to do it picture perfect. At first I always did the modified moves. And just gradually added in more of the jumping as I felt I could do it. Now I still am not doing it all perfectly or anything near that, sometimes I peter out and just kind of back off to "keeping moving", as long as you are keeping moving you're going to get better! Today was the first time doing a HIIT in four weeks (following the schedule) and it having been so long, the difference in my ability was readily apparent and made me quite happy. I was able to all the jacks and jumping unmodified (although I admit I was pretty much ready to lie down and die at the end lol).
I have more trouble sticking out the tone and sculpt routines and my nemesis the Stretch 40. I'm warming to Stretch 40 but I hate tone and sculpt. For some reason I do not like doing oh say biceps at the same time as doing squats. I'd rather do them separately. I think its because when I squat there is a certain point where my knees hurt if my position is not perfect and I'd rather just concentrate on one or the other at a time. Who knows.
Anyway sorry for rambling, but my weight loss efforts in the past have often been sabotaged by a feeling that if I did not do something perfect I have failed, this time though my attitude is that doing something is better than nothing and if we could do it all perfect at the start, you wouldn't have the feelings of accomplishment that come as you get better. Good luck!0
