Need a Friend? Starting Over/ Teacher Stress

Here I am again….and at my highest weight ever. I am a 46 year old female teacher, married with kids and 3 grandkids. This school year I started out on the right track to losing weight, some that had packed on after my dad passed and the pandemic. However, I had an abrupt and unexpected grade level switch (not my choice), and now have the most difficult class I’ve had in 17+ years of teaching. Also work in a Title 1 school where the entire curriculum is being revamped, all in one year in the name of test scores. In addition, sweet cat of 20 years passed a few months ago, and I am working on training a much loved but destructive and high maintenance corgi puppy. LOL, suffice it to say my stress level has been through the roof for a number of reasons. Anyway, if anyone needs a friend, please add me. Willing to chat about life, pets, hobbies, etc. I could use support and would love to help support others.

Ooof! Sounds like you've got soooo much going on. All the hugs. I find that workouts really help with stress, but also that when I get stressed I"m more likely to skip workouts. I'm trying to do better.

I'll add you - I can be a bit salty sometimes, but am really trying to kick my butt into gear and be a better, more motivated, fitter (and less fluffy) version of me. :)

I am 46 with kids and one grandson and a 1 year old Havapoo. I’m also struggling with rheumatoid arthritis and just had a complete hysterectomy this past January. I’m also trying to get back on track. Add me if you’d like a friend 🙏🏻😄

I feel ya on the stress and the weight gain due to covid. I just rejoined after being off a few years. The years I was on was very positive because I lost a lot of weight and made some good friends along the way. I am trying to refocus because I too am at the highest weight I have been.
    You got this!
