Greetings.. I am new to this.. although have been doing it for 2.5 weeks.. and while my husband said it took time like 3 weeks to actually see the scale start to move.. I haven't seen much of a move at all..

Should I eat the recommended amount of food daily.. and not go over?? what if I am not eating the amount I should plus the burned off amount from exercise?? Am i starving my body..?? What do I do..?? ??

While this is great.. I just feel I am doing an awful lot of work and not really seeing the results.. : (

There could be several reasons why you are not having any success, if you are doing the same work out every day, then your body has become accustom to it and does not need to change to adapt to what your doing. If you are eating too much then your body is using all of it and needs nothing more, but is not in a deficit either. Maybe you are already at a great weight for your body, so it does not have the need to lose any more weight. Its hard to say with very little information.
  • Greetings as of 9/22/2011 in the am I will be starting this course of losing weight. I want to lose the weight I put on over the last 14 years. I am a retired vet of the US Army, after serving 22 years when I retired my body retired with me, I am tired of it and want to lose, but my motivation factor is close to nil.

In April of 2009, I lost a leg in a motorcycle accident and now move and get around in a wheel chair I know this wont b e easy but I am willing to try anything that anyone can recommend to me to get my physical fitness in daily. I want to lose weight and I am a avid watcher of "THE BIGGEST LOSER" and I just don't know what to o besides lowering my calorie count daily.

Please anyone out there that may be in a similar situation that may be able to help me please reply!

I WANT TO BE THIS AGAIN!!!!
  • Today is the start of my journey of weight loss. I am not n over eater but a under motivated person to get up and move. I have learned that if u eat very little, if u dont get up and move , u might as well have eaten alot. So if anyone has any motivational tips, I really need them. Thanks!!
  • Seems when I look back at the reports.. I apparently am NOT eating too much but NOT eating enough.. I think I need to eat more.. so as to meet my daily food/calorie requirements w/ my exercise.. Currently exercising exceeds the amount of food I am eating.. so my body is holding on to EVERYTHING it can.. Strange but true.. I think I gotta eat more.. : )
