So to date I have lost 23 lbs over a period of 25 weeks...to reach my goal I have 17 more pounds to go and only 17 weeks to get there!! It seems possible....but we all know that those last 10 lbs are the hardest to get rid of!
If anyone has any quick/simple breakfast ideas would be helpful, I eat the same breakfast Mon-Fri cause I have to make it to go for when I get to work, I eat a pack of instant oatmeal, a banana & yogurt....if you can think of something that is simple enough (2 kids to get ready at 6am everyday) would be appreciated so I can change up my diet a little to boost my metabolism!!

I eat cheerios with fat free milk alot...if you slice up a banana or cube an apple to put in it, you won't miss the sugar.
I also eat eggo waffles (low-fat whole wheat) and they aren't bad at all lightly toasted. I don't put anything on them.0 -
A great stand by @ my house, having three kiddos to get ready for school myself is breakfast burrittos. I scramble a few eggs, toss in a very small amount of shredded sharp cheddar cheese & mushrooms, bell peppers and a small amount of prechopped ham cubes. I make this up the night before or on the weekend and then measure it out into individual containers that I can throw in the microwave either at work or just before heading out the door. Grap a whole wheat tortilla to wrap it up in and if you watch the sodium level maybe a splash of salsa.
I know that just by having some thing made up in advance seems to take alot of pressure off of me on trying to figure out what I want at 6 am while my brain is still asleep. It also take away the temptation to go through a drive thru or just to skip a meal all together which is my biggest down fall.
Hope this helps....I know I need all the help I can get especially that early in the morn!0 -
Forgot to mention... :noway: I have saved my homemade breakfast burrito on the foods list and it is under "SHAYS Breakfast Burritto w/ham" The ham only adds about 35 calories but the sodium is 360 for just 1/8 cup. The tortilla that I use is Josephs Flax, oat bran & whole wheat flour. Josephs is the best brand I have been able to find that is low not only in calories but carbohydrates as well and my kids enjoy the flavor and texture.0
