I,m putting this challenge out to motivate myself.If there are people out there that care to join this is the format.I'm shooting for 9000 caloriesOnly you know what amount is a true challenge for you .So set your goals high .If you don't make it there's always next week.Do what's best for you! Have fun & stay healthy!!

    I dont know brother...I've logged a bit over 8,000 calories in the last seven days. I will keep track and see if I make the grade !!!

    I've done just over 9000 this week so put me down for this. Highest I've done in a week is just over 15,000 I think, but I ain't working that hard if I can help it.

    Schedule for this week:
    Monday - Shoulder & Arms, Abs, Kickboxing
    Tuesday - 6km Run, Plyo, Kickboxing
    Wednesday - Rest
    Thursday - 6km Run, Biceps & Back, Abs
    Friday - Gameday, Pad Work
    Saturday - 6km Run, Chest & Back, Abs, 10 Miles Bike, Heavy Bag
    Sunday - 14miles bike, Yoga, Drills

  • Most of mine is done on my bike.It takes about 16 miles per 1000 calories .At that rate I'll need to pump out 144 miles! Dam that sounds high.I'll be playing some golf & softball as well so let's see .Glad to see a couple motivated guys to push my *kitten*.Hopefully we'll have a bunch! The 8702 was for last week which I finished today.

    Damn!! 1000 calories in 16 miles!! Do you MTN bike or road? I do road cycling and it usually takes me about 25 miles to burn 1000 calories and thats at about 17mph avg. I've got to step it up!!

    I use a HRM too but I have noticed that since I've lost 40 pounds I don't burn as much and that just sucks!! My 12 mile ride that I first started out with I used to burn about 600-700 calories now I'm lucky to burn 400 on a day I'm working on speed. So just know that number will go down!!:ohwell: This looks like a great challenge but out of my league!!

    I'll join! I am going to set a more realistic goal for the time constraints and my current level of exercise. I would love to hit a goal at 3,500 for the week, approximately 500 a day.

    I plan on getting 1,500 of the calories burnt from horseback riding (approximately 5 rides). The rest will be from running and bike riding, maybe some jump rope too :)

    Saturday - 2 Mile Walk, 6km Run, Chest & Back, Abs, 10 Miles Bike, Heavy Bag

    Total: 3494 Calories and a scary 342 minutes of exercising already, thats nearly six hours :/

    Tuesday - Horseback riding (~350 calories), P90x day 2 Plyometrics (~300 calories - had to stop half way through it was bothering my knee to the point where I couldn't complete the exercises correctly, next week I will replace this with Cardio X) Estimated Today: 650!!!!

    Total: 991 minutes of exercise, 9214 calories, so about 1300 calories a day on average for the week. I've actually been a bit lazy this week and could have done more.
