Stay positive

Need the encouragement and motivation to keep going strong. Lately I’ve felt like I should give up but then I think of all the accomplishments I’ve had within the last 8 months.

    So what are those accomplishments? Perhaps writing a list will help you feel motivated?

    Also: you could just be needing a maintenance break, to give your body (and mind) a little break - being in a calorie deficit is stressful even if losing excess weight is good for your health!

    You don’t have to keep going all the time. Agree you might want to calculate your maintenance number for where you are now and do that for a bit. It’s a much better option than quitting and regaining. A lot of people run off the rails during the holidays for a reason. A period of maintenance offers a compromise between stressing through everything and going hog wild. Most important thing is to keep control of the process. The numbers can be adjusted as needed.
