Women's Pants

Okay, I need some help ladies. I am beyond frustrated. I have been trying to find pants to fit me, with no luck.

Over the last year, I have gone from a size 8 to a well, I am not sure. I was shopping at Kohl's last night and the smallest dress pant that Kohl's carries in the womens section is a size 2. They were too big in the waist. I then tried on a few different sizes in the juniors and found that I am too curvy for that. They would fit the waist, but not the butt and thighs. Long story short, I found nothing that fit me.

Where can I find pants that are made for REAL women? Curves in the hips and thighs, but smaller in the waist? Specific brands maybe?

Thanks ladies!

Having the same problem, Old Navy seems to be the only place that I am even close to getting a decent fit. Considering using a tailor to adjust existing pants...

Try Express...their "Editor" pants rock. I can't wait til I can fit back into mine. They sit a little lower on the hip so you don't have that waist gap.

I have a friend who is very small in the waist, but large in the hips/booty. She has found that brands like Juicy, Baby Phat and other brands of the like work best. Don't get thrown off by the outfits in the front of the store (probably not your type as they arn't mine either), but usually they have very normal pants and jeans.

If you have a Target near by, their pants actually come in different "Fits" The same size could come in a few different fits. Like one for a higher waist with relaxed hip and thigh. One is mid rise curvy, and there's mid rise and straight. I've found that pants there fit me amazingly well. Another place to consider would be Fashion Bug. They have a similar system of pants with different Fits. Hope that helps!

Edited: I just thought I should add that there are a total of six different fits at Target.

Ann Taylor Loft and recently Target have curvy fit pants. Ann Taylor is better for business/ bus. casual and Target has some bus. casual, not a lot though, and jeans. There are some other stores that have curvy fit cuts that escape me now, but try searching for that cut.

New York and Company have "Curvy" jeans that are awesome. normally to get skinny jeans, they'd be too big in the waist and perfect on the hips so I wouldn't like them. I was able to get the correct size with no gappage in the waist at New York and Company.

Hi, Ann Taylor is fabulous. I have a very small waist and a nice booty and she always fits me!

Keep in mind, too, that if they fit every except in the waist, you can have them altered to fit.

I love Eddie Bauer's curvy fit jeans. They are one size smaller in the waist than the hips. They have a similar fit in slacks called "Blakely". I am wearing a pair in a capri cut right now, in fact. Their pants also come in three different lengths which is important to me since I'm short. They are made as small as a 2, but no smaller.

This is actually an issue for me as I'm working to lose weight. I don't want to get so small that I have an even harder time finding pants that fit than I already do. I may stop pretty soon for that reason alone.

I never thought I would have been saying that myself. Thanks!

I have the same issue and I've found Ann Taylor Loft & Express have the best fit. I'm also petite though and The Loft are the perfect length while Express has limited options in petite/short sizes (don't know how tall you are).
