...when i sneezed and my two-year-old said from the backseat "bless you"

he's never said that before and it was way too cute in that little voice of his.

    that's so cute!

My son also made me laugh today. He was being goofy so I told him to knock it off, bc I don't want him to be the "weird kid" at school (I was joking, lol). He said, "Mom, I AM the weird kid!"

My 2.5 year old daughter said, "You're such a wonderful daddy." It was just before I was going to put her to bed and I nearly turned into a bumbling mess. I miss her, work sucks!

I almost feel bad writing it since everything else in this thread has such positive things but...

there's a co-worker who really strives to make people's lives miserable at work; she's a know it all and puts people down to make herself feel better. She messed something up a few weeks ago and blamed me to upper management. Well, today, she messed up big again and had no way to blame anyone else but herself.

When I was tucking my 2 year old son in bed and he grabs my forehead gives it a big kiss and says "mama, you're my best friend, I miss you tonight". Uggh my heart melted. I love that boy soo much.

One of my Co-workers had surgery a few days ago and asked me if I could help her fix her window that 'fell out' so I was on my way to work, had only about 10 minutes and was praying I could fix it in that time. It turned out to be an easy fix for me, impossible for her. (landlord experience pays off sometimes)

So that made me feel good!
  • When my 2.5 year old daughter says "Daddy I love you." When my 3 month old smiles and laughs when I talk to her. When my wife cleans the dishes after I make supper.

That's cute. My son did that the other night when he was suppose to be sleeping. I sneezed in the living room and then heard a quiet "bless you" from his room lol.

As for today, I was happiest when I realized it was 8am and my kids didn't wake me up. They put their show on the tv and were laying down together on the couch watching it. Normally they are up super early so it was nice to get to rest longer and not be woken up by a loud "good morning mommy" right in my ear lol
  • I had an appointment with a client that's actually trying to make positive change in their life. It's such a relief when that happens.

i was in a small fender bender in which my back bumper was tapped but had a bit of damage. i took it in and now have a cool charger for the weekend.. woohoo. i'm going out of town too so no extra mileage on my own little car.
  • awww, i loved all of them - even the coworker gettin' hers one...thats awesome when that happens LOL
  • Normally I'm up at 5 a.m. to get everyone moving and shaking for the day. Today, my husband woke up extra early and did all the day's prep and let me sleep in til almost 6!

My little sister called earlier to tell me that the granddaughter of a childhood friend has been found. She was kidnapped by her stepdad and they thought he had taken her to Mexico. She turned up in San Diego I think she said. The girl flagged down the police. I don't know the details of how she got there or anything yet, but I'm just so happy she's safe. I've been praying for her every morning and every night since I found out about it weeks ago. Praise God!
