Insulin Resistance Education

I'm looking for advice on good websites to learn about carb counting in relation to insulin resistance. Does anyone have any recommendations?

That's a complicated question that a dietician would be best able to answer. Carb recommendations to control blood glucose are very personal. But, in general, the fewer carbs you eat, the lower your blood glucose will be.

    This.

Understanding the mechanisms is half the battle and the best way to get a quick and dirty education is just to google IR and carbohydrates, diabetes, chronic elevated insulin levels etc and read. The Canadian diabetes website and the ADA for example are pretty milk toast in this regard and nothing really too insightful, actually kind of silent on carbohydrates with just a basic mention, so venture out. Cheers.
