Music Recommendations

Yesterday, I decided that I'm going to listen to music that helps me relax when I'm feeling anxious. I chose some classical music while I took my shower and it was so peaceful. What are some specific artists or songs that you would recommend for a Playlist?

I always like to listen to anything in the ambient, folks, and some math rock. I recommend Sibylle Baier for something cozy and chill0

Native American flute music can put me into deep meditation. It is rather haunting like wind blowing across a flat prairie. Look for ‘music for massage’ or ‘music for meditation’. In classical I love cello and double bass solos…my fave is Edgar Meyer Bach Unaccompanied Cello.3

YouTube!-search for meditation music, calming music, relaxation music, peaceful music, inspirational music. Theres classical, nature sounds, instrumentals like piano, strings, flutes, choral, etc. Movie soundtracks like BraveHeart, Rob Roy, Secret of Roan Inish, Lord of the Rings, any of your favorite movies you liked. If too mellow try musicians like Enya, or "Somewhere over the Rainbow" by Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwoʻole, Disney songs?. Search Easy Rock! One of my favorite mood lifters on YouTube is by Tim Janus, streams 24/7 and has beautiful visuals with it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXIyMS61B68.
Just ideas. Hope you find some good mood lifters and day brighteners!

Spirit on Two Strings (Jie-Bing Chen)
22 Strings (Sekkou Keita)

I've learned it varies from person to person. Some people need hard rock to let go of the built up emotions. For me, many of those already mentioned. I also took a class on Music Communications and had to pick a genre. I selected New Age (before I knew it was about what messsges music communicates, so new age was challenging to do yet rewarding). Anyway, in researching its history and musicians, I've found some cool ones. Here's one-Kitaro. But have fun exploring to find what you like! I also find Indie music strangely relaxing.
