I know first hand how important logging my food is. Every. Single. Day.
A fitness coach I follow posted this today and it rang very true with me, so I thought I would share:
"Your body is keeping an accurate journal of what you eat regardless of what you write down. And it remembers everything."
Amen.

That was EXACTLY why the other weight loss attempts never worked for me...I kept lying to myself and could never get that simple concept through my head. This time, I log EVERYTHING that goes in my mouth!! I don't know why I understood that this time, but I'm sure glad I did!0

Now, if I can find a way of getting my *kitten* to lie about how much I'm eating, I'm all set.
Until then, I'll write everything down.
Did you know that Twinnings Earl Grey tea has 2 calories? grumble, grumble.0 -
Your body may be keeping track but it's also WAY more forgiving than the majority of us are with ourselves when we sneak that extra piece of X, Y or Z...
Giving yourself a break and learning to do everything in moderation, including self-criticism, is all a part of the journey. Definitely need to keep that in mind as well. Be accountable but also be realistic :flowerforyou: And most importantly, be good to yourself - body, mind and soul!0
