I am trying a achieve a reasonable goal - to lose 5 pounds in 6 weeks, much of which is in my tummy area. I enter food and exercise and count calories till day 10 or 11 and then fall off the wagon. This time I really want to log for 6 weeks. I am posting if someone can be my pal and help me get thro 6 weeks.
Thanks.

Welcome to community Callie,
You are the only person who can make your own choices. When you get to that 1.5 week mark, can you look farther down the road ahead as well as behind and see that you ARE being successful and that success awaits if you continue to make good choices?
Developing good habits takes some time, but once things become a real habit, they become easier. Stick to it! Success awaits.3 -
It's probably reasonable, depending on your current weight. If you're already at normal weight then this might not happen. Please be aware of this. Also, weight loss might be masked by your own ebb and flood, mostly water retention due to just being alive really. it's good that you've chosen 6 weeks though. If you're female in menstruating age then you'll probably see an increase in scale weight at one or two points in your cycle. Don't panic, don't think you've done anything wrong. This is just normal bodily function, even if it sounds annoying.
Rooting for you! Please do report back if you like. Or ask if you have any questions0 -

Callie - Why do you fall off the wagon? Have you thought about it ? Is there a trigger? Is there a certain food that you crave then have too much of it? Is your diet too strict?1
