Hey people!

I'm new on this app and hope it will help me to improve my weight gain progress.
I'm 174 cm and 50 kg right now which means I'm severe underweight.
Last year I gained 5 kg and this year my goal is to gain 6 kg or even more.
I hope to reach my goal and also do good in my sport (I'm a runner) and in general improve myself.

(sorry for any mistakes I'm not a native English speaker)

    Welcome!

How are you fueling yourself to slowly put some weight back on? There's for sure some good options if they are available to you like avocados, nuts, nut butters, and even cheese.

@mtaratoot after Training I always eat yogurt with a Smoothie and stuff like that.
I noticed that I didn't eat enough in the morning so I'm now trying overnight oats (with an apple, nuts, honey,...). I sometimes eat avocados but they are not always available at this time of the year.
I in general eat a lot of dairy right now and try to eat more often over the whole day.
    Thank you for your suggestions!

Welcome, hope you like it here :) I can find myself in your shoes some years ago, for me it worked to overeat and now my body feels "normal" so I can gain weight without overeating. By overeating I mean 1000kcals above maintaince or more.

@stianjl I also try to eat a lot more and also food that is high in calories but I honestly didn't realise until now how hard it actually is to eat such food in a healthy way if you know what I mean. It's easy to get my calorie goal with fast food but that would be counterproductive and wouldn't make me feel good. Do you by chance have any spezial food recommendations (ideally for a meal)?

Yeah 100%, its pretty hard if you are eating super clean. But my go-to is: chicken, rice, pasta, any kind of meat with low fat %, potatoes, juice, fruit, vegetables, proteinpowder, smoothie, smoothiebowl, milk, egg etc :)
