Hi, I was wondering do you all know if there is a certain time of day that is best to have your thyroid levels checked? Morning? Afternoon? Take my meds before I go have the blood work or wait? Eat or not eat before having them checked?
P.S. I had a total thyroidectomy so, I am reliant upon my cytomel and synthroid...

I've often wondered the same thing. I've just decided to be stay consistent. I take my meds at 6:30am and then usually go have my blood work done at 8:30-9 before I eat breakfast.0
