Who uses the word "doll"???

Who in the world says “doll” anymore? As in, “have a great day doll”, “good job doll”. LOL – I consider myself part Neanderthal at times and that one is a stretch even for me. I saw it on a friends page from another guy on several occasions. I’m not trying to start trouble, just thought it was kinda funny. Maybe he thinks he’s Frank Sinatra. :laugh:

    If you watch Modern Family- there was a tween boy on the season premiere this week that hit on Alex calling her "doll". heehee. I love that show!!!

    Can't say I've ever heard a man use the word "doll" directed at anyone in my presence before. But I have heard plenty of young women use the word among each other.

    Ok, maybe I’m the weird one, lol….just sounded corny to me. Personally, I prefer the word “broad” anyway but what do I know. Maybe I'll try working in the word "doll" around the office today....

    I call people doll. I wish people called me doll. I'd prefer that over babe or hun or something.
