I'm back again for the nth time. I do pretty good with losing some weight the first few months, then get lazy and backslide. I'm a senior and besides losing weight I need help with my body aging, so I subcribed to a yoga app too. I used to be really good at yoga, but it has been years since I was actively doing it. I'm on day 2 and pretty sore but I think it is a good sore. A lot of postures I don't have the strength, balance, or flexibility to do now but hopefully it comes back. My goal is to be thin and able to walk a lot by July when my granddaughter and I go on Mediterranean cruise!

Hi, and welcome!
It sounds like you have great motivation (improved weight/fitness for that trip) and a good plan (working gradually at enjoyable exercise to make fitness improvements).
I'm a senior, too (67 now) and don't recover fitness as quickly as I did at 20, but my aging body still responds with improvements when I give it sensibly manageable challenges. It sounds like yours is responding, too - good show!
Since you're here on MFP, I assume you're supporting all of that with a good, nutritious, calorie-appropriate changes in routine eating habits to create weight loss. That can work: I lost weight at age 59-60 (class 1 obese to a healthy weight in just under a year) by doing just that.
I'm cheering for you to succeed!

Having a real hard time. I'm 68 and it's not that I don't know what the problem is. First, I have a husband who wants to go out for dinner or lunch every weekend. I could say no, but he gets bored and wants to get out of the house. Truthfully, I get bored too. Secondly, my appetite is pretty strong. I'm ok until I get home from work. I eat a snack, but then I still tend to overeat at dinner. After dinner, I don't eat anything. Just seems to be more difficult at this age. I have a fitbit so I do my 7,000 steps on most days and exercise at the gym two days/week.0
