    I LOVE shoes so I own 7 pairs that I still rotate through...there are about 3 I don't run in anymore :smile:

    3, but 1 pair is in the closet as a back up to the pair I wear most of the time. Discontinued model, so I bought 2 at once.

    I have 3 in good condition and 3 or 4 that are too old to wear regularly. I save the older ones for trail runs, when my shoes will get dirty, etc. I'm thinking of buying a pair of Newton's.

    2. I used one pair for indoor running(treadmill) one for outdoor, so they are rotated in a sense and maintain a longer life. I've had to throw out a 3rd pair I had .. and soon the 2nd of 1.

    I don't think we're all crazy shoe people, lol, I think we just foresee a new pair, buy it and wear out the last bit of life on the older ones.

    I have 7 pairs of running shoes although I only actively wear for running 2 pairs (soon to be 3 as I just bought a new pair) and the remaining 4 pairs I use for when I walk, every day way or ride my bike.

    3 pairs, so I can rotate them daily. You shouldn't wear the same shoes (any shoes, really) two days in a row. You should give them a day to "breathe" so they maintain their shape and last longer. Rotating them helps, esp with athletic shoes. Unless you just don't workout daily... in which case, this doesn't affect you.
